He was abducted on October 28th from a gas station in the small town of Barrancas before being released on November 9.
Luis Manuel’s traumatic captivity occurred while his son was away on national team duty. Luis Diaz emotionally dedicated his goals during this period to his captive father. Fortunately, Luis Manuel is now safe after reuniting with his son during the recent international break.
