Valencia-Based Newspaper Brand Vinicius Jr ‘a liar’ for continuously complaining over Racism abuse:
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti spoke up in defense of forward Vinicius Jr, who has frequently been the target of racist abuse in Spain.
Vinicius Junior has become “unfortunately used to” racism in Spain, his coach Carlo Ancelotti said on Saturday.
The Brazilian player has sadly grown accustomed to racism over the past two seasons. Both Barcelona and La Liga are investigating new allegations of abuse directed at Vinicius during Madrid’s recent El Clásico victory.
Valencia-based newspaper also attacked the player on its front page this week, calling him “Pinochius” – a reference to the fictional character Pinocchio, known for telling lies. This came after Vinicius reported being racially abused by a fan at Valencia’s stadium in May.
Vinicius testified in court last month regarding the incident in Valencia. “He’s doing alright. Unfortunately he’s become used to this treatment,” Ancelotti said at a press conference before Madrid’s match against Rayo Vallecano.
“He remains focused on his game and his work. I don’t need to say anything to him about it.”
Vinicius and fellow Brazilian Rodrygo Have not been at their best this season. However, new arrival Jude Bellingham has excelled, scoring 10 league goals to lead Madrid to the top of the table.

Ancelotti expressed confidence the Brazilian duo will regain their scoring touch. “There’s no doubt Rodrygo and Vinicius will score more goals as the season goes on,” he stated.
“They’ll outscore Bellingham and Joselu. Right now, Bellingham and Joselu are delivering for us. But Rodrygo and Vinicius will have no problems getting back among the goals soon enough.”
Bellingham scored both of Madrid’s goals in their 2-1 Clásico win, taking the Spanish capital by storm. “So far, he has shown no defects,” Ancelotti added.
“He doesn’t need to improve. At this level, consistency is what matters, especially for a talent like his. Big players are defined by the consistency they display in matches, and so far he has shown that.”
